As part of their European tour the band The Watch will be paying tribute to the music of the British rock band Genesis entitled The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. It celebrates the 50 years since this album was issued. Genesis performed in Cascais in 1975.
8th November 2025, 9.30pm and 9 November 2025, 4pm, Salão Preto e Prata:
The musical Grease with the production by Yellow Star Company adapted and directed by Paulo Sousa Costa.
16th November 2025, 9pm, Salão Preto e Prata:
The London Comunity Gospel Choir will present the music entitled ‘One Night with Prince’.

3rd October 2025 – 9pm – The Celtic Legends – Salão Preto e Prata:
The Irish group The Celtic Legends will be performing in the Salão Preto e Prata as part of their Life in Green Tour 2025.
5th October 2025 – 6pm – ABBA MIA – Salão Preto e Prata:
The group ABBA MIA will be paying tribute to the famous Swedish group ABBA singing their famous songs.
24th October 2025 – 10pm – Barcelona Flamenco Ballet – Salão Preto e Prata:
Celebrating 150 years of Bizet’s Carmen the Barcelona Flamenco Ballet will be presenting the show Carmen in the Salão Preto e Prata.

The Portuguese Music Museum (MMP – Museu da Musica Portuguesa), Casa Verdades da Faria, holds music concerts throughout the year at this venue in Monte Estoril. The museum, which is housed in a beautiful small palace, has a collection of musical instruments and documents related to Portuguese music. You can also visit the museum on the day of the concerts.

The innaugural event for the professional women’s football World Sevens Football (W7F) will take place from 21-23 May 2025. The matches will be held at the António Coimbra da Mota Stadium in Estoril, Portugal. This new format in women’s football is the first of its kind. It consists of seven players on each side on a field half the size of a typical football pitch. Other W7F events are planned over the next months in cities across the world – US, Mexico, Europe. The W7F association was established on 15th March 2025.

7th May 2025, 9pm. The famous opera Carmen by Georges Bizet with music provided by the Hesperian Symphony Orchestra will take place at the Salão Preto e Prata, Casino Estoril.
28th May 2025, 9.30pm. A concert by the Gipsy Kings by Diego Baliardo at the Salão Preto e Prata, Casino Estoril. The famous group will sing some of their big hits from the late 1970s and 1980s such as Volare and Bamboleo. Click this link for reservations and Tickets .
3rd June 2025, 8pm. Stand-up Comedy with American TV presenter, author Chelsea Handler will be presenting her show “An Abroad Broad” at the Auditório dos Oceanos.

The internationally renowned Portuguese porcelain company Vista Alegre which started in 1824 is celebrating its 200th year with an exhibition at the Palácio Nacional de Ajuda. The company produces fine porcelain, crystal, and many decorative items. Designers of some items include Christian Lacroix and Alvaro Siza Vieira. You can visit the Palacio Nacional de Ajuda which has a treasure of furniture, tapestries, paintings and portraits and end your tour in the room dedicated to the Vista Alegre exhibition which also has an area selling their 200th anniversary items. Located in the Ajuda area, a fair distance from the Jeronimos Monastery in Belem. Largo da Ajuda, Lisbon. Open: 10am – 4.30pm. Closed Wednesdays.
The World Press Photo exhibition (WPP) 2024 will be held in Oeiras, at the Parque dos Poetas from 29th November to 29th December 2024. This 67th edition will exhibit the works of 31 photographers from 24 countries. Entrance is at the Templo da Poesia, Rua José de Azambuja Proença, Oeiras. Open from 10am to 8pm – entrance is free.
A new exhibition of Paula Rego’s paintings entitled The CHPR Collection in Dialogue has opened at the Paula Rego Casa das Historias in Cascais from 31st October 2024 and will end on 26th October 2025.
