World Sevens Football (W7F) (women): 21 – 23 May 2025, Estoril

The innaugural event for the professional women’s football World Sevens Football (W7F) will take place from 21-23 May 2025.  The matches will be held at the António Coimbra da Mota Stadium in Estoril, Portugal.  This new format in women’s football is the first of its kind. It consists of seven players on each side on a field half the size of a typical football pitch.  Other W7F events are planned over the next months in cities across the world – US, Mexico, Europe.  The W7F association was established on 15th March 2025.

Kika Nazareth, our very own Portuguese forward and midfielder in the Portugal National team and FC Barcelona, is the Event Ambassador.
