Annual events taking placing in the Estoril Coast with dates in 2024.

• NEW YEAR’S EVE – FIREWORKS:  

  Fireworks take place at the Tamariz beach at midnight, lighting the skies of Estoril to greet in the New Year.  There are concerts to the countdown and fireworks in Cascais Bay.  In Lisboa they are at the Praça do Comercio.
  
  

• MILLENNIUM ESTORIL OPEN – TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP: 30th March to 7th April 2024

  Held annually at the Estoril Tennis Club.

• BOOK FAIR LISBON 2024 – FEIRA DO LIVRO DE LISBOA:  Parque Eduardo VII.  94th Edition – 29th May to 16th June 2024

• ST ANTHONY’S FEAST DAY – Every Year on 13th June:  
  

  Lisboa celebrates the festival of this Saint on 13th June. On the eve of the 13th groups representing each  borough parade down Lisboa’s Avenida da Liberdade in colourful costumes. One group is chosen as the winner for having the best dance and costumes.  Please see our article  Spirit of Santo Antonio  

• 35th INTERNATIONAL LUSITANO HORSE FESTIVAL, CASCAIS

• ESTORIL HANDICRAFT FAIR 2024 – FIARTIL.  59th Edition –

  Open in the summer from 5pm to 11pm. Above left, stall selling morello cherry liqueur (Ginjinja) from Obidos, chocolates, honey. Right foto stall Temperos QB selling herbs, spices.  Located behind the Estoril Casino. Stalls from regional and local artisans selling handicrafts, liqueurs, honey, clothing. Restaurants serve meals and snacks. Concerts and folk dances take place in the late evening. Av. Amaral, Estoril.
  
  

• MIRPURI FOUNDATION SAILING TROPHY 2025, 6TH YEAR:

• FESTIVAL OF THE SEA  2024 FESTAS DO MAR, CASCAIS:   
  30th August to 1st September and 6th to 8th September 2024

  Cascais celebrates its traditional ties with the sea every year in August with this annual event. This includes a Mass, a procession and a parade of fishermen’s boats. You will find stalls selling street food in Cascais centre. Concerts  take place in Cascais Bay in the evenings. Celebrations end on the last day with fireworks.
