Further afield from the Estoril Coast, Cascais and Lisbon there are several picturesque villages, located a relatively short drive from Lisbon or Cascais.
These include the towns of Azenhas do Mar, Ericeira, Mafra, and Queluz amongst others. The main attractions in these towns are the Mafra Palace in Mafra, the beautiful sea and coastal village of Azenhas do Mar. The town of Queluz has the National Palace as its main feature with its lovely gardens.
