There are many restaurants in Cascais serving different cuisines scattered around the borough. We list below a selection of restaurants that serve traditional Portuguese cuisine.  Fish and shellfish abound given our coastal location.  Please note a few restaurants only accept payment in cash (Euros) but payment with cards is widely available.

• HONEST GREENS CASCAIS

  

  A comfortable place open from breakfast time 9am to dinner 11pm.  It has a nice rustic decor and is spacious with various eating areas.  The restaurant, with others in Lisbon, follows a philosophy of plant-based health food and seasonal menus with fish and meat dishes.   This is one of the popular busy restaurants in Cascais where you can get grilled chicken  as well as other Portuguese dishes. Moderately priced. In the foto a generous portion of half a chicken with chips for one person. THE ESPLANADAS – Cafés and Restaurants
with outdoor seating:

There are quiosques that serve drinks, coffee, snacks and some serve meals. Several of the Cascais restaurants and cafes have these outdoor seating areas called the esplanadas. Some cafes/restaurants along the beach close during the winter months.

• THE QUIOSQUE AT VISCONDE DA LUZ:

• MERCADO DA VILA – CASCAIS MARKET:
  There are tables and chairs where you can buy food and drinks from the adjoining stalls at the Cascais Market. Events on Summer evenings are held here  (event list is posted at the entrance).
