CASINO ESTORIL:

7th March 2025, 9.30pm.  The Great Songs of Dire Straits, a tribute to the band Dire Straits by Oscar Rosende and his band Great Straits.

14th March 2025, 8pm.  Concert of Lord of the Sound Symphonic Orchestra playing the music of Lord of the Rings. Salão Preto e Prata, Casino Estoril. More Info

3rd June 2025, 8pm. Stand-up Comedy with American TV presenter, author Chelsea Handler will be presenting her show “An Abroad Broad” at the Auditório dos Oceanos. More info

Jonathan Dassin sings the songs of his father Joe Dassin (1938-1980), at the Casino Estoril Salão Preta e Prata on 6th November 2024 at 9.30pm. Joe Dassin was a popular 1970s American French singer songwriter.  Joe Dassin’s  music was played a lot on local radios here.  Some of you may remember his hits such as  ‘A Toi’, ‘Salut’, ‘Et Si Tu N’existe Pas’, and ‘Les Champs-Élysées’. Jonathan Dassin will be featuring these songs in the concert.

For all those rockers out there the Danish rock band D-A-D from the late 1980s will be giving a concert on 28th September 2024 at the Estoril Casino.  This will be at the Casino’s Salão Preta e Prata room starting at 9pm. The band’s hits include ‘Sleeping My Day Away’,  ‘Point of View’ and ‘Laugh N’.

The 3rd Edition of the Oeiras Valley Air Show will take place on 28th and 29th September 2024.   You can view this event from the beach of Santo Amaro de Oeiras.  There will also be a park for radical sports.  More details will be available at:  https://oeirasairshow.pt/

The Somersby OutJazz Oeiras 2024  in September will take place on 15th, 22nd and 29th. It is an outdoor event with concerts on Sundays and this is held from May to September.  It starts at 5pm with live music followed by DJs, to sunset.  This is the 18th Edition.   The venue is in the Gardens of the Palacio Marquês de Pombal in Oeiras.  Entrance is Free.  Further details of guest singers and bands at:  https://outjazz.pt/festival 

There will be a tribute to popular singer Diana Krall at the Estoril Casino’s Lounge D this Friday, 13th September 2024 beginning at 10pm.  The musical director is Mário Rui Teixeira and songs will include Diana Krall’s version of ‘Cry Me a River’ and ‘The Look of Love’.
