
		FOOD in Portugal is varied and served in generous portions. In some restaurants one portion is usually enough for two or you can ask for a 'meia dose' (half portion). All tastes and pockets are catered for, from small back-street tascas (cafés) to luxury restaurants. Most waiters speak English and if in doubt of a dish do not be afraid to ask what it is. There are also restaurants in shopping centres, some serve buffet style meals. These are in Cascaishopping, Cascais Villa, Oeiras Parque. 	Lisbon is full of restaurants with varying prices, producing international to reginal cuisine. There are also several in the Docas area and the Parque das Nações. The shopping centres - Vasco da Gama, Colombo, Amoreiras etc also have a variety of restaurants. PARQUE DAS NAÇÕES - PARK OF NATIONS Located where the Expo 1998 was held this area includes one of Lisbon's best attractions the Oceanarium. The whole area was redeveloped and today it is one of main venues in Lisbon with restaurants, places for concerts and other entertainment provided throughout the year. Cable cars take you from one end to the other where you can enjoy the view from above or you can walk along the river. The Parque das Nações becomes lively on weekends and holidays. Concerts are held with local as well as international singers and groups. There are several restaurants with a variety of cuisines. The Teatro Camões holds ballet, theatre and other events. The easiest way to get there is by the Metro - the Oriente station. This takes you through the Vasco da Gama shopping centre and here you can also find restaurants and bars.
