Formerly a Casino this building was transformed into a museum to house the Berardo Collection -modern and contemporary art works collected from Europe and U.S. Works by Andy Warhol, Mark Tobey and also "Pop Art". - TOY MUSEUM (Museu Do Brinquedo) Rua Visconde de Monserrate. Tel : 21 9242171 Open: 10am-6pm, Closed Mon. Vast number of toys collected by João Arbués Moreira and displayed on three floors. Train sets, dolls houses, soldiers, etc.
- QUINTA DA REGALEIRA Rua Barbosa do Bocage. Tel : 21 9106650 Open: 9.30am-1pm , 2.30pm-7pm Beautiful Palace, chapel and park filled with statues, grottoes, caves and the well. Visits by guided tours.
- PENA PALACE (Palácio Nacional da Pena) Tel: 21 9105340 Open: Tues-Sun: 10am-4.30pm. Closed Mon/holidays. The cinderella palace on the top of the hill overlooking Sintra. Furnished with an ecclectic collection. The Pena Parque surrounds the palace.
- HOUSE-MUSEUM ATELIER ANJOS TEIXEIRA (Casa-Museu Anjos Teixeira) Volta do Duche, Sintra Tel: 21 9238827 Open: 9.30am-noon and 2-6pm. Sat-Sun: 2-6pm. Closed Mon. House and converted garage housing dozens of large and small sculptures by both Pedro Anjos Teixeira, who died in 1935, and his son Artur.
- MOORS CASTLE (Castelo dos Mouros) Estrada da Pena. Tel : 21 9247200 Open: 10am-7pm. Spectacular views from this area.
- SETEAIS PALACE (Palácio de Seteais) Formerly a palace, this present day luxury hotel and restaurant is surrounded by a lovely garden. The restaurant serves gourmet food.
- ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM OF S. MIGUEL (Museu Arqueológico de S. Miguel de Odrinhas) Odrinhas - 11 kms from Sintra Tel: 21 9613574 Open: 10am-1pm and 2pm-6pm. Closed: Mon/Tues. Opened in 1955, this municipal museum displays Roman and medieval foundations and stone carvings. Mainly outdoors.
