The Cascais Council together with NotSo is organising the second gastronomy festival on 1st, 2nd and 3rd November 2018 from 12noon to 10pm. Top Chefs in the country will be highlighting their dishes in showcookings and there will be pop-up restaurants, beer bars and wine bars. Chefs include Pascal Meynard from Lisbon’s Ritz Four Seasons, Henrique Sá Pessoa from the Alma restaurant in Lisbon, Pedro Lemos from Homonimo in Porto, Tiago Bonito from Largo do Paço in Amarante and Ricardo Costa from The Yeatman Hotel in Porto amongst others. Held at the Cascais Cidadela.
Cascais will have a light festival from 8pm to midnight from the 21st to 23rd September. Watch for the various colours and forms in the Bay, marina, gardens and streets of Cascais!

The 4th edition of the Street Food European Festival will take place in Estoril in the gardens of the Casino. Open from 12 noon to 10pm there will stalls serving various types of street food and live concerts from 7.30pm.
The 11th Lisbon Fish and Flavours festival is open upto 15th April from noon to midnight. Located at Pavilhão Carlos Lopes, Av Sidonio Pais, 14, Lisbon. Local and international chefs will be present and there will be workshops, tastings and other events. If you like fish this is a fun event to try the different dishes by chefs from all over the country.
An exciting event with the best in the world of horses and show-jumping will take place in Cascais, Hipódromo Municipal Manuel Possolo, with the Longines Global Champions Tour CSI 5* on Friday 7th July 10am and 8.30 pm and Saturday 8th July 6.30pm and 9.30pm. Entrance is free. Abdel Said on Captain Future from Egypt was the winner of the Day 1 morning session.
The Tall Ships Races 2016 route includes Lisboa from 22 to 25 July. Organised by Sail Training International the event is celebrating its 60th anniversary. These grand ships are in Lisbon’s Santa Apolónia area, just beyond Cais do Sodré.
